A lovely wee cottage on the edge of Duns but close to town centre. An ideal base for exploring the Borders and Berwick-Upon-Tweed. Enjoyed the enclosed back garden on the few sunny afternoons we had and an added bonus was the abundance of birds in the garden.
A fabulous cottage in a great location. We did lots of dog walking locally, nearby castle and lake are gorgeous. Wonderful beaches are a half hour drive away. The cottage was charming and very clean, the owners incredibly welcoming. We had a lovely time and would love to come back!
We had a great time, cottage had everything we needed and things we didn’t even know we needed, log burner all set up ready to light, milk in the fridge, spotless, felt like a home from home. Sofa cover for the dog incase he wanted to sleep on the sofa. Secure back door so dog had safe access to outdoor space.
Being in our 70’s it suited us very well. Lovely walks with our dog in the woods of Duns Castle estate 5 mins away, shops for basics handy. Lovely countryside all around and lots of places to visit even with Covid. Beautiful coastal villages too.
Fantastic little cottage and lovely lady that owns property, we are sure to book this again, 100% for cleanliness and hygiene which is absolutely crucial during current Covid 19 pandemic, wonderful!
Four of us had a very enjoyable week at Cloud Cottage in July. Very clean and comfortable with everything we could possibly need provided! The owners lived just next door and were welcoming and helpful in every way with suggestions of local places to eat out or visit. Our favourites were Heather’s restaurant in Eyemouth and The Waggon in Kelso.
